AASHTO Method

The initial relaxation loss (RET, psi) is computed using the formulas from Reference 12, the PCI Journal. Elastic shortening (ES) is computed by a modified closed-form equation, the derivation of which is given in the next section. Other components of loss are computed by the code-specific formulas.
